AS – one year course of study (Unendorsed)

A2 – One additional year of study after completion of the AS course

The structure of the courses is to develop their experience that they gained within the GCSE course. The students will work independently covering the fine and design based arts.

There are three components that have to be completed:

• Research Investigation/ Specialist Project
• Personal Investigation/ Personal Study
• Exam

We hope to setup specialist workshops by professional artists to broaden student’s knowledge of techniques and specialisms.

Students are encouraged to visit exhibitions and the department will organise visits abroad.
